Founded with a vision to transform agriculture in Uganda, SACI Innovations Uganda Ltd is a dynamic enterprise dedicated to organic mushroom production, value addition, and rural empowerment. Since our inception in 2016, we’ve grown into a trusted center of excellence—producing high-quality oyster mushrooms and pioneering eco-friendly solutions that enrich lives and promote food security.
We believe that agriculture should nourish both people and the planet. That’s why our operations are rooted in sustainability, innovation, and inclusive growth. From cultivating mushrooms using organic methods to processing them into nutritious powders and dried products, we ensure every step adds value to households and communities across Uganda.
Our name SACI stands for Smart Agricultural and Community Innovations
Symbolizing our commitment to transforming lives through sustainable farming and inclusive development. We strive to create prosperity for all our stakeholders by combining innovation, education, and ecological responsibility.
We believe in empowerment through enterprise—for the farmer, the consumer, and the community. Our work promotes health, dignity, and opportunity, from the soil to the shelf.
The core activities of SACI Innovations Uganda are driven by five transformative pillars:
Cultivation, Capacity Building, Climate Resilience, Community Engagement, and Circular Economy.
Through these pillars, we’ve built a thriving ecosystem for mushroom production and value addition—one that supports local livelihoods, enhances nutrition, and champions sustainable practices across Uganda.
